Fighting Spirit Events

Competitors must register with their appropriate age, weight, gender, style, and rank.

If unsure about the appropriate division, consult your instructor.

Divisions will be finalized and posted one week before the tournament. Every effort will be made to keep weight categories within a 5kg range for all fighting divisions. However, if a competitor does not fit within the weight window, we may move them up to the next age or skill category (unless it involves moving from age 17 to 18). Alternatively, we may adjust the weight category by up to 2kg either way. 

Once divisions are set weight categories will remain fixed.

This policy is in place to prioritize competitor safety and prevent unhealthy weight-cutting or dehydration before the event. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe and sportsmanlike competition environment.

Divisions may be adjusted by the director to ensure fairness and safety, with competitors notified of any changes.
